At Evalutions by Aubuchon, we believe that a luxury home should tell a story. In our latest project, Villa Solara, the narrative is one of “Refined Coastal Living”—a seamless blend of organic textures, luminous finishes, and architectural precision.

A Grand Entrance: Setting the Tone

The journey begins at the threshold, where massive, dark wood pivot doors create a dramatic sense of arrival. This architectural weight is immediately balanced by the interior’s lightness, anchored by a series of cascading shell chandeliers that act as the jewelry of the Great Room, casting a soft, rhythmic glow across the open-concept living space.

The Culinary Sanctuary

The kitchen at Villa Solara is a masterclass in tonal layering. We paired crisp white cabinetry with a striking gray-toned hood and architectural light fixtures that mirror the organic patterns found in the Cambria quartz waterfall island. This space isn’t just for cooking; it’s a design focal point that integrates seamlessly with the dining and lounge areas.

Bespoke Living: Texture & Light

In the Great Room, we utilized a high-contrast design strategy:

• Custom Feature Wall: A floor-to-ceiling textured fireplace wall serves as the room’s heartbeat, flanked by custom-lit shelving that showcases curated coastal artifacts.

• Organic Elements: We integrated woven rattan seating and natural wood ceiling fans to bring a tactile, earthy warmth to the clean, modern lines of the architecture.

• Luminous Bathrooms: The VIP suites feature backlit mirrors set against soft, watercolor-inspired walls, creating a private, spa-like atmosphere.

Living Without Boundaries

The soul of Villa Solara lies in its connection to the water. We designed the primary living spaces to converge at the vanishing glass sliders, leading to an outdoor oasis that mirrors the interior’s palette of soft blues and sandy neutrals. Whether you are in the primary suite overlooking the lake or the social heart of the home, the waterfront is always the guest of honor.
